BERGAMOT ESSENTIAL OIL
MODE OF EXTRACTION-
It is extracted by Steam distillation method from the aromatic skin of the sour fruit of bergamot.
USES-
Bergamot is used to make marmalade. It is used as a flavorant.
Bergamot peel is used in the perfumes of men and women.
It is used in many skin care creams and lotion which harness its cooling, refreshing nature
Bergamot is ideally suited to help calm inflamed skin.
It also has antiseptic properties.
It is considered as very effective, analgesic, antiseptic, antibiotic, antidepressant, antispasmodic, deodorants and very effective for digestive system.
PROPERTIES-
Its color is yellow like lemon. The taste of juice is sour.
The essential oil is composed of various chemical constituents and includes a-pinene, myrcene, limonene, a-bergaptene, b-bisabolene, linalool, lineally acetate, nerol, neryl acetate, geraniol, geraniol acetate and a-terpineol.
It was first time originated from Calabria southern Italy.
